You and your group are in good hands with us, for we take safety very seriously. We provide video surveillance in all public spaces, key card locking systems to all rooms and an on-site supervisory staff. Beyond that, in-house behaviour is regulated by our clearly-articulated House Rules and the sale of alcohol is closely monitored, assuring that everything runs smoothly during your stay.

A good day begins with a rich breakfast. At MEININGER, you can eat as much as you would like in the morning – at no additional charge. We are also happy to prepare your lunch and dinner if you so choose. We offer a wide selection of menus and are happy to cater to cultural or health-related special requests. Finally, if you are en route all day, we recommend you take advantage of our popular packed lunches. For individual guests, a hostel kitchen and washing machine are available.

We are happy to support you both before and during your stay, so if you have any special wishes or requests, just let us know! We would love to save your money and time by, for example, arranging reduced- price tickets to numerous events and museums.

We offer a great deal of inexpensive and even free leisure activities like billiards, table football, PlayStation and Karaoke Nights. In addition, we offer Internet terminals for inexpensive Web-surfing and are happy to organize Movie or Disco Nights for your group upon interest.

The perfect place to relax after a jam-packed day of travelling. The M-Bar is open around the clock, and its drinks are sold at very reasonable prices. For groups, sale of alcoholic drinks is closely monitored.

Lugging around heavy suitcases? Not at MEININGER, where we are happy to transport your luggage from the train station to our house and back, free of charge for groups..

At MEININGER, we know no closing hours and are available to you in person at all hours of the night and day.

You can store your luggage safely in this room, which also features safe deposit boxes for valuables.

Those not travelling by public transportation can park their cars or busses in the immediate vicinity of our houses – in Berlin, this can partly be done free of charge.
